Breaking STEM News: Planetary Alignment June 24th!

During research for this week's upcoming exploration article, we stumbled across some exciting STEM news: there will be a planetary alignment occurring on the morning of June 24th, 2022! This sort of alignment will not be seen again until September of 2040, so be sure to keep an eye on the skies. If you want to try and observe this alignment, you'll need to start searching around an hour before dawn on the 24th. Five of the aligning planets--Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn--will be visible even to the naked eye, so you'll have a shot at witnessing this momentous occasion even without special equipment. Those who do have access to special equipment may have a shot at spotting the other two additions to the alignment, Neptune and Uranus.
