We are proud to present STEMx to the digital community!
Who are we?
STEM Explorers is an online, non-profit community of curious minds that seek to discover the STEM world. We publish our own articles, publish videos, recommend videos, recommend online readings, host events, and recommend events happening worldwide. Our community's goal is to uncover the secrets of STEM and to make them easily available to everyone that may be interested!
Words from the Founders
Our names are Amazone and Maxence Herbreteau. We came up with the idea of STEMx during the summer of 2021. At the time, we were constantly researching the STEM world. Interested in pursuing a career in the field, we wanted to learn as much as we could about the different branches that make up science, technology, engineering and mathematics. One evening, while discussing our findings with classmates, we realized the benefit of exchanging resources -- avoiding hours of research. With that in mind, we drafted a project that allowed people to share their research and access the discoveries of others. Little by little, suggestion after suggestion, the original idea of a research archive developed into a community of researchers that not only shared their research, but also presented it in videos, engaged with it in calls, scheduled interviews, and subscribed to a mailing list for constant updates. With the help of many people, including family, friends, classmates, teachers, and school peers, STEMx officially opened December 7, 2021.
